More Tourists in Sudan


Sudan: Minister of Tourism - Sudan Receives Tourists From Europe, Canada, America and Australia.

Khartoum — About 19 helicopters and 49 pilots carrying aboard tourists gathered from Europe, Canada, America and Australia stopped at Khartoum airport Sunday.

The tourists were received at Khartoum airport by the Minister of Tourism, Antiquities and Wildlife Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Abu Zeid

Dr. Abu Zeid told SUNA that the trip resumed Sunday after suspension for years and the ministry allowed them to do so because it comes in the framework of the promotion of tourism in Sudan.

The minister said that their starting point was from the Greek Capital, Athens, revealing that the trip has been organized by George the owner of Acropolis Hotel, the oldest hotel in Khartoum, promising to arrange a tour next year consists of 80 flights from all over the world.

He hoped that the image of tourism in Sudan to be improved through the trips and to be reflected to the tourists.

SUNA learned that an air-aircraft show will be organized Monday but its time has not been determined.
